Kim Kardashian Needs Your Help Entertaining Her Children In Thier Mansion Home

Kim Kardashian is stuck home with her four children and her husband, Kanye West, and she has run out of ideas of what to do with them. She took to her Instagram account and asked her 163.7 million followers for ideas on how to keep her children entertained. Despite living in a mansion that has it’s own premium amenities such as a basketball court, a swimming pool, a movie theater, and a playroom, she still doesn’t know what to do with her children. There are countless women across the country who live simple lifestyles and aren’t at a loss when it comes to entertaining their children. Sometimes too much luxury can take the place of a child learning how to occupy his or her own time. Granted, Kim has her hands full. North West is six-years-old, turning seven in June. Saint is four-years-old, Chicago is two-years-old, and baby Psalm is only 10-months-old.

With these ages, Kim should focus on imaginary play. She had shared a video of the children making a fort out of cardboard boxes and the kids had a blast. That type of imaginary play can keep children entertained for hours. Kim might want to check out some crafts and projects designed for toddlers since her children are so young. But typically, if you give children a project, they will occupy themselves for hours.

Sometimes children just need less structure and more freedom to play the way they want to. Sometimes you need to clear a space, cover a table with newspaper and throw a tarp on the floor and let them make a mess. Creativity is messy and there is nothing that will wear a child out faster than letting him or her get messy in age-appropriate activities.

Infants Psalm’s age can enjoy fingerpainting with edible foods such as pudding that can easily be ingested while also being a fun texture for kids to explore.

There are many books and websites with activities designed for toddlers and preschool ages, but Kim’s weariness may be coming from trying to micromanage every minute of her children’s lives (as she has stated in the past that she does).

Micromanaging a schedule when your children are leaving the house (or the parents are leaving the house) serves a particular time and purpose, but when everyone is home — it’s sometimes better to take a Miss Frizzle approach (The Magic School Bus) and let kids do what they do best — explore, create, make messes, and play.
